Information Architecture informs the content strategy through identifying word choice as well as informing User Interface Design and Interaction Design through playing a role in the prototyping process.

Main components of Information Architecture consists of:
  • Organization of Schemes and Structures: How to categorize and present structure information
  • Labeling Systems: How to further represent and identify information that leads user to desired path and behavior
  • Navigation Systems: How users browse and ingest information
  • Search Systems: How users search and find information
